“Back to School” Campaign

Every September brings that familiar buzz—new sneakers, sharpened pencils, backpacks picked out just right. For most kids, the first day of school feels like a fresh start.

For children in foster care, that same first day can feel like standing alone. They may walk into the classroom without the supplies other kids take for granted—and without the quiet confidence that comes from feeling ready, prepared, and like they belong.

Because a backpack full of supplies isn’t just about pencils and folders. It’s a signal to a child that someone thought of them. That matters. That they’re walking into this school year prepared—not just with tools, but with a sense of dignity.
