Through personalized support and training, we empower individuals to thrive in the workplace and achieve lasting professional growth.
Cardinal McCloskey offers day habilitation services in Valhalla and Ossining, which foster an enriching experience, and offer individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities a variety of purposeful opportunities and supports, on-site and in the community, to strengthen independent living skills and achieve goals, within a social setting. Vocational readiness is encouraged through a number of recurring and rewarding volunteer experiences.
With our employment for all philosophy, the Mission of McCloskey Works! is to creatively increase opportunities for those who wish to work to discover, develop, and demonstrate their skills and abilities to contribute in the workplace. With this integrated employment model, individuals gain employable skills in stimulating work-based settings, on-site in our newly designed facility in Ossining, and across Westchester communities in area businesses. In concert with our Wish to Work supported employment program, individuals receive on-the-job coaching and support, and our holistic approach increases success on the job. We also provide supports for students during and after high school, to help prepare them to enter the workforce.
