For this year’s Taking the Stage Talent Showcase, we were joined by celebrity hosts fashion designer, Norisol Ferrari and actor, Malik Yoba. Our hosts were a welcomed addition to the show as they shared a chemistry with both the performers and the audience.

At Taking the Stage, the real stars of the show were the talented children and adults in our programs, Taking the Stage began as a creative outlet for kids to express themselves in a constructive way through writing. The showcase has expanded to not only include our poets but also the gifted artists and performers in our care. The November afternoon included an art exhibit and provided our CMCS poets, singers and dancers a chance to highlight their talents on the big stage.
