Within our family foster care programs, our adoption unit has been consistently awarded New York City’s highest honor of “Outstanding Achievement” in Adoption Services. While our goal is always to keep a family intact and together first, the safety of our children is our top priority and in instances where reunification is not possible, we make diligent efforts to connect children with a permanent family.
Unfortunately, there are situations where it is impossible for a child to remain with or return to their birth parents. In these very sad situations, our adoption unit social workers are dedicated to finding loving and stable permanent homes for these children.
We strive to create and maintain family stability and permanency when facilitating the adoption process. Securing homes for countless children, Cardinal McCloskey has a long-standing reputation as one of the preferred providers of adoption services in the New York City area.
Please note that we do not facilitate private adoptions. Our adoption services are intended to help children in foster care connect with permanent families. If you are interested in adopting a child, you must first become a foster parent through CMCS.
