What is Corporate Compliance?

Mission

The Mission of the Corporate Compliance Department of Cardinal McCloskey Community Services is to embrace a culture of excellence that mitigates risk and ensures that all members of its Community comply with the approved Code of Conduct as well as all federal, state and local laws while delivering services with the highest degree of honesty and integrity.

Policy

It has been and continues to be the policy of Cardinal McCloskey Community Services to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and payer requirements. It is also the policy of Cardinal McCloskey Services to adhere to the Code of Conduct that is adopted by the Board of Directors, the President/Chief Executive Officer, and the Corporate Compliance Committee.

Commitment

We have always been and remain committed to our responsibility to conduct our business affairs with integrity based on sound ethical and moral standards. We will hold our employees, contracted practitioners, and vendors to these same standards.

Cardinal McCloskey Community Services is committed to maintaining and measuring the effectiveness of our Compliance policies and standards through monitoring and auditing systems reasonably designed to detect noncompliance by its employees and agents.  We require the performance of regular, periodic compliance audits by internal and/or external auditors who have expertise in federal and state health care statutes, regulations, and health care program requirements.

 

Meet Our Corporate Compliance Officers

Kamlesh Singh - SVP of Financial & Corporate Compliance

In her role, Kamlesh is responsible for the implementation of the Agency’s comprehensive Corporate Compliance Program. She reports directly to the President & CEO, as well as the Board of Directors. Irene Roman - Director of Corporate Compliance & Privacy Officer

In her role, Irene is responsible for the records retention of the Agency’s administrative policies and Board documents. If you have any concerns regarding HIPAA Privacy in the workplace or as it relates to those we serve, you should contact her directly at iroman@cmcs.org.

Vidya Jaikarran - Corporate Compliance Associate

In her role, Vidya is responsible for supporting the functions of the Corporate Compliance Department. All Corporate Compliance Trainings, implemented throughout the year, will be coordinated and managed by Vidya.
