CMCS maintains a CVS repository for software development.
CVS Account
CMCS Project Team members may request a CVS account that allows both
read and write access (checkout, commit, etc.) to the CMCS CVS repository
by sending email to
cmcs-admin@cmcs.ca.sandia.gov.
Instructions on how to access the CVS repository can be found at
CVS Access in the CMCS Portal
(Production Portal account required).
ViewCVS (CVS Read Access)
ViewCVS
can be used to browse the contents of the CMCS repository and download files via
a web interface. File revision history and differences between revisions can be viewed.
Access to ViewCVS requires a CVS username and password.
CVS Change Reports and CMCS Build Errors
All team members who write to the CMCS CVS repository should subscribe to
cmcs-cvs mailing list by sending email to
majordomo@emsl.pnl.gov
with "subscribe cmcs-cvs" in the message body.
Members of this mailing list receive daily summaries
of changes to the CMCS CVS repository and a notification if the nightly
build from CVS fails on the development server.
If the email address you wish to subscribe with is different from
the one being used to send the subscribe request, use
"subscribe cmcs-cvs email-address".
To unsubscribe from the cmcs-cvs mailing list, send email to
majordomo@emsl.pnl.gov
with "unsubscribe cmcs-cvs" or "unsubscribe cmcs-cvs email-address"
in the message body.
